Omnivore Pin-up: Rosie, 25, Whitechapel
As big a brain-box as a sauce-pot, Rosie is a twenty-five-year-old neuroscientist who currently resides in Whitechapel. If you want to take her out for a G&T … or two, email in to love@theomnivore.com. Box 3718.
What are you reading?
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, winner of the Nobel Prize, which is what I will be in a few years time.
What have you just finished reading?
Lions and Shadows which is an autobiographical account of Christopher Isherwood’s youth. It wasn’t great by I persisted because I love Christopher Isherwood and it’s quite short.
What will you read next?
The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford because when a friend drunkenly buys you a book the least you can do is read it.
Which author do you have a crush on?
Christopher Isherwood (sadly unreciprocated).
What’s the sexiest thing you’ve ever read?
Gray’s Anatomy. Sex is all about anatomy and Gray’s is the sexiest anatomy book out there.
Which book would you give someone you’re trying to impress?
Voltaire, Candide and Other Stories. It’s a book of frivolous, sexy short stories which might trick people into thinking there’s more to me than science (there’s not).
